Description:
silver bow-form sugar tongs with tapered arms with bright-cut borders and ovoid grips with bright cut borders; engraved, "KL" in bright-cut script on the arch; maker's marks stamped on the undersides of the arms.
Gallery Label:
These sugar tongs belonged to Katherine Lawrence, daughter of Martha and John Brown Lawrence and the sister of Captain James Lawrence.
