Gray granite monument, square in section, with "92" chiseled on two sides and "2" chiseled on other two sides.

Judging from its chiseled numbers, this surveyor's monument stood at the intersection of Second Avenue and 92nd Street. It is similar to monument 1908.33, from Fourth Avenue and 26th Street, which was placed under direction of the Commissioners appointed by the New York Legislature in 1807 to lay out streets on Manhattan Island north of Houston Street.
