Description:
Cast silver plate sweetmeat basket, missing it glass liner; octagonal, flat bottom base with a molded rim; octagonal cast foliate rim with four branch supports applied to the base; plain octagonal band applied around the rim; cast branch-like bail handle applied to opposite sides of the body; engraved on the base, "C L B" in script; maker's marks stamped on the base.
