Description: 
Sword with curved, single-edged steel blade with broad fuller; gilded brass counter-guard and knuckle-bow with openwork design, the latter also with molded eagle (or phoenix) and leaf decoration; carved ivory grip with spiraling grooves and ridges; gilded brass eagle head pommel; leather scabbard (now in two pieces, b-c) with two brass carrying rings and tip.
