Description:
Presentation sword with slightly curved, single-edged steel blade with two fullers, one broad and one narrow, and etching on obverse and reverse (now faint); brass half-basket hilt with openwork flower and scroll design on obverse side and scroll quillon; grip covered in fish skin and wrapped with twisted wire; helmet-shaped pommel with leaf border; leather scabbard with brass mounts, including two carrying rings and tip with drag, and engraved inscription on throat.
