Description: 
Dress sword with straight, evenly tapered steel blade, which is triangular in cross section; gilded brass hilt cast in three pieces: grip with oval framed eagle in relief on either side, acorn-shaped pommel, and guard consisting of two scrolled quillons and two shields, one on obverse side and one on reverse, the obverse shield with wreath border and six stars in relief; leather scabbard with gilded brass mounts at throat and tip, the former with oval frog stud.
