Description:
Sword with straight, double-edged steel blade with etched designs on obverse and reverse; blade is elliptical in cross section; cross quillons of openwork design separated on obverse and reverse by a panel with the letter "F" repeated six times inside a circle within a diamond superimposed on a square; undecorated ivory handle with brass ferrule at base; brass pommel in the form of a conventionalized helmet; brass scabbard with two carrying rings and tip with flat disk finial with incised lines on either side.
