Woven white silk damask tablecloth with a medallion portrait of George Wahington in the center surrounded by flags and four American bald eagles with U.S. shields on their breasts; all surrounded by floral scrolls; "D D D" embroidered in foliate gothic script on the top center of the cloth.
Gallery Label:
This tablecloth belonged to the donor's mother, Mrs. Elihu Chauncey.
