Description:
silver tablespoon with a downturned pointed handle with bright-cut decoration and the engraved initials, "PDHB" in block letters; pointed oval bowl with an inscribed arched drop; maker's mark stamped on the underside of the handle.
Gallery Label:
This tablespoon belonged to Peter Douw Beekman and Hannah Hilton who were married 1789-1805.
