Description:
Six silver tablespoons in the "Cluny" pattern with an upturned trefoil end handle with all over foliate design between geometric designs; pointed oval bowls with beaded and foliate drops; engraved on the undersides of the handles, "SES" in script; maker's marks stamped on the undersides of the handles.
Gallery Label:
The initials "SES" refer to Susan Elizabeth McLane (b.1831) who marred Samuel Spencer Stafford (1825-1895) in Albany in 1854.
