Description:
Black silk dress tailcoat (coat to Coaching Club uniform); coat has velvet double collar and black silk lapels with a buttonhole at each side at the tips; short jacket with a vertical row of yellow metal buttons on each side at the stomach, buttons incised with "C C" and showing the image of men in top hats in a coach, same buttons at the cuffs (3) and 2 near the center at the waistline on reverse.

This dress tailcoat was worn by Harris Fahnestock at Coaching Club dinners. The Society also owns the waistcoat and trousers to this uniform.
