Description:
Porcelain tea bowl with a scalloped rim and molded ribs and decorated with a pin and rust trellis diaper border and "famille rose" polychromed enamel floral arrangement and several isolated flowers on the exterior.
Gallery Label:
This tea bowl was part of the weddding china of Elizabeth Meyer (d. 1858), the wife of Clarkson Crolius (1773-1843), New York City potter and politician; they were married in 1793.
