Description:
Underglaze blue painted porcelain tea bowl and saucer with an oriental style scene of rocks, stylized spreading tree, a flat bridge over water to a small building; pattern is the "long bridge" pattern; interior rim of both bowl and saucer are outlined in a cross hatched diaper pattern; the saucer with an additional blue line.
Gallery Label:
The glaze of the saucer and its paste are decidely grayer than those of the tea bowl.
