Engraving: All pieces engraved at center front with bright cut shield framed by beading and engrailed vaves with interior script bright-cut initials "EMB" related to purported original owners Evert Bush and his wife Mary McEachron Bush.
Description:
Seamed and wrought assembled silver tea service consisting of a teapot, creamer and sugar bowl with lid; teapot oval in plan with straight sides, seamed beneath the handle; wrought helmet-shaped creamer; wrought urn-shaped sugar bowl with lid; teapot and sugar bowl have bright-cut shields suspended from a bow knots with floral garlands behind, engraved, "M B" in bright-cut script on each side; creamer has a bright-cut shield with the initials "M B" engraved in the center; teapot has maker's marks on the base, creamer on the footring; sugar bowl has no maker's marks.
