Description:
Cast and wrought silver teapot; oval, boat-shaped body with narrow fluting around the lower body; beaded band applied below the shoulder; concave shoulder; oval domed foot with fluting around the dome and a beaded band around the foot; oval, domed lid with fluting around the dome and a oval wooden finial; squared, wooden strap handle; high, notched, s-curve spout with fluting at the joint; engraved on the front of the body, "CGI" in foliate script; makers' marks stamped on the underside of the base.
