Description:
Cast silver plated teapot; cylindrical body tapers toward the plain applied rim; center of the body engraved "H.N.C." in block letters; notched s-curve spout; loop handle with wooden insulators; lid missing; maker's marks stamped on the base.

This teapot was used on the Steamboat "Rensselaer."
