Description:
Molded pearlware oblong bombé form with foot, long spout, broken scrolling handle; all in low relief as is finial of step-domed oblong lid, printed in dark blue with view in cartouche either side of sailing steamship on water flying American flag; floral border.

The steamboat depicted is the "Chancellor Livingston" built in 1816.
