Description:
A souvenir calling card wallet given to mark the hundredth performance of a play, still in its original cardboard box. The box is printed in black "Broadway Theatre/ Manager A.A. McCarmick/ Souvenir/ 100th Performance/ De Wolf Hopper/ in / El Capitan/ July 21St., 1896". Inside is a white leather wallet with embossed metal trim that opens to expose two pockets for calling cards, one inset with an actual photograph of a man in a knight's costume with helmet and chain mail with the same inscription as on the box top.
