Description:
A large faded gold colored tin with pink and black geometric borders and scattered starbursts around a central crest of a circle around a shield with a rampant lion below the words "S.S. Pierce Co./ Importers Grocers/ Boston and Brooklyn/ Established 1831/ Incorporated 1894" on the front and back. One side shows a huge mansion like building with a horse drawn carriage in the street, the other a more than ten story urban store or factory building on a busy city street- perhaps representations of the Boston and Brooklyn stores.
