Description:
A black woven silk ribbon with fine gold top and bottom border lines and a teal blue flag with a gold crest consisting of a lion below a crown surrounded by a wreath and with a tiny green, white and red barred flag in the corner above the word "Persia/ Standard" in gold and green. The green, white and red flag is the flag of present day Iran; Persia no longer exists. One in a series of collectible ribbons featuring Flags and Standards of the World. Given as a collectible premium by cigarette manufacturers, a paper label on the reverse reads "The American Tobacco Co., Inc./ New York".
