Gilt bronze struck medal with obverse showing American eagle atop shield with crossed helmet and sword; legend: "WEST POINT/DUTY HONOR COUNTRY"; inscription on scroll: "DUTY/HONOR/COUNTRY/WEST POINT/MDCCCII/USM." Reverse shows sword superimposed upon burning torch crowned with laurel wreath; legend: "UNITED STATES MILITARY ACADEMY/SESQUICENTENNIAL" and inscription: "1802/1952." Cream-colored sqaure cardboard case.
