Description:
Cotton and brass waist belt; fatigue canvas belt with sliding clip on right side, brass holes, and hook at right end that fastens to clasp on left; button on left exterior stamped with eagle in center that has shield on breast, three arrows in one talon, branch in other talon, and with flower at top.

According to an attached label, this waist belt was part of a uniform worn by Major John H. Marsching during World War I.
