Cast iron mechanical toy of horse mounted on three wheels; movement of legs controlled by spinning axle.
Gallery Label:
Ives also manufactured a four-wheeled variation of this horse. Bernard Barenholtz speculated that Ives may have produced the three-wheeler as an experiment, turning out limited quantities (See Publications).
