Description:
Bronze struck medal with obverse showing standing female figure representing Belgium, at left, holding oval shield with image of St. Mary with infant Christ; gothic cathedral in background at right. Obverse depicts three shields with state symbols of the United States and Belgium, with image of eagle and oak leaf garland; distant cityscape of Brussels in background. Medal is inset into circular white cardboard box.
