Description:
A red cardboard cigar box that once contained about three or four cigars. The inside box slides out of the cover which is printed in black "Try This Tantalizing Trick./ Compliments of Austin Nichols & Co./ New York", and on the reverse a drawing of a cigar and the words " 'Cigars inside, do not force' ". The box created some entertainment trick not apparent except the yellow inside bottom of the box is printed with a paragraph in which every words starts with the letter "T": "Try thou this trusty treasure. 'Twill tickle thy truly thankful throat till tuneful transport's timely thrill turns thou thy tranquill thoughts to testify ten thousand times twice told, that this tip top tobacco's tasty tribute tempts trade. Test, therefore, thyself this tropical trophy. Thus talks the 'Town Tattler'."
