This tiny rectangular tin is brown with a color lithograph of a woman in a pink dress and reads "Lowney's/ Breakfast Cocoa" on the front and back. The side has directions. The bottom is printed "We put no cocoa in this can. If spilled by the children, it is hard to get out of carpets and clothing", indicating that this tin was a toy rather than a sample.

This woman's folding hand fan is printed on one side with a color scene of women in very elaborate formal gowns looking at flowers in the garden of a palace or estate. Printed in gold "Louis Martin's/ 42nd Street & Broadway/ New York". The reverse has a simple geometric border in brown.
