Cotton patchwork quilt with appliquéd decoration; center with rectangular block with scattered globes and text printed in blue, with bunch of roses appliquéd at center and blue printed border; central block within frame composed of pieced eight-pointed stars alternating with printed blocks, which is surrounded by another frame with appliquéd leaves and flowers; the whole surrounded by appliquéd meandering vine and plain outer border with diagonal quilting; homespun backing.
