Description:
A white cardboard card mounted with a sample ribbon and button. The front has a blue silk ribbon with a black circular celluloid button at the top. The button has a gold monogramed "R.S.E.S." encirled by the words "Refrigeration Service Engineers Society/ 'We Do It Right' ". The ribbon is printed in gold "11th Annual Convention/ 23rd District/ Detroit, Mich./ Jan. 10, 1939". The card is printed in blue "Preserve This Sample/ Eastern Sales Office/ 265 West 14th Street/ (corner Eighth Ave.)/ New York, N.Y./ CHelsea 2-7330". And on the reverse "St. Louis Button Co./ St. Louis, MO., U.S.A.", with the stock number of this sample and a list of prices based on the quantity ordered.

Description:
A dark blue pin-on award ribbon. The pin is set into gold metallic trim at the top edge and dark coppery metallic fringe lines the bottom edge. The ribbon is printed in gold "Insurance/ Men's/ Blaine/ and/ Logan/ Campaign Club/ Aid." A small pin-back campaign button, featuring McKinley and Roosevelt on a gold background with a red, white and blue ribbon has been attached to the top right corner of this ribbon, probably indicating that it was made during the presidential election of 1900, when McKinley ran with Theodore Roosevelt as his running mate.

A pin-on award ribbon. The top pin bar is rectangular with pierced metal work and attraches to two faded pale bluish green ribbon, the back one longer than the front, both with pointed ends with dark gold metallic fringe. The front ribbon is stamped in gold "Opening/ Of The/ West/ Washington/ Market/ Jn'y 26th/ 1889". The rear ribbon reads in gold, just below the front, "Marshalls/ Aid".

Description:
A color lithograph on tin showing a scene of a doctor in a tall hat with his black bag striding up the walk of a country home but casting the shadow of a stork. The reverse explains that the picture was being sent to physicians as a contest and promotion to be hung in their office as advertising. The company invited doctors to send in a title suggestion for the work, the winner receiving an award of $250 on Sept. 1, 1915. The contest was sponsored by "The Malt Nutrine Department/ Anheuser-Busch, St. Louis, Mo.", a division of the beer giant that made supposedly nutritional malt products.
