Description: 
A thin flat gray metal military identification tag, or 'dog tag'. This tag was probably issued during World War II and is stamped with the name "Janisswski Alphonse E.", Military Identification number "RA12270280", and indications of blood type and religion, in this case "O" and "C" for Catholic. Pierced for hanging from a chain and with the notorious tooth notch in the outer edge.

The front reads in blue "Toasts and Travelers Facts/ From All Over The World/ Compiled with the cooperation of/ Pan American World Airways/ Serving the Six Continents/ Pan American World Airways New DC-7C/ Fastest Long-Range Commercial Airliner in the World". On the reverse are color reproductions of many liquor labels encircling the words "From All Over The World/ Renfield/ Brings you the Finest" with a list of liquors including "Remy Martin Cognac/ Gordon's Gin/ Cointreau Liqueur" from Renfield Importers, New York.
