Inside the front cover in an oval frame are the words "Samuel Bowles & Company/ Springfield, Mass./ Manufacture/ 50 Different Styles of Albums,/ Ranging in price from/ 25 Cents to $10.00 and Upwards.", and on the inside rear cover "Samuel Bowles & Company/ Sole Manufacturer/ Springfield, Mass./ Patented March 16, 1869./ Directions for Inserting the Cards..." with directions for placing photos into the approximately 10 paper sleeves with oval openings for displaying the image.

A yellow cardboard box that opens on a hinge and contains seven small wood pots filled with different color pigment cakes. The top reads in black "Price, Twenty-Five Cents./ Revoli's Magic Photo-Tints./ Transparent colors for tinting Celebrity and other Photos, Magazine Pictures, Steel Engravings, Pen Drawings, School Maps, Lantern Slides.../ Edward B. Fox/ 174 Fifth Ave., New York/ Between 22nd and 23rd Streets." Inside are directions for color combining, harmony charts and room for eight pots of pigment, with only seven remaining.

A brown cardboard box with red sides and a white label printed in dark blue with the words "Directions For Using The/ Imperial ('Special')/ Lantern Plates, For Producing Transparencies of a Black Tone./ Imperial Dry Plate Co., Ltd./ Cricklewood, London, N.W." with instructions for use and formulas for several chemical development processes.

A carved rough textured wood tobacco pipe with a removable black Bakelite or horn mouthpiece. The bowl is engraved "K.B. S. B. Standard". The mouthpiece is inlaid with a yellow circle and triangle symbol.

A white sample pack of "Chesterfield Cigarettes/ Best for You! Much Milder", with gold and red borders printed in maroon. Printed on the bottom Complimentary/ Not For Sale". Probably held four cigarettes.

A white sample pack of "Virginia Slim Lights" cigarettes with silver, blue and gren stripes on one side. Printed on the bottom Complimentary/ Not For Sale". Still sealed with four cigarettes inside.

A red and orange hardpack of cigarettes with a yellow camel in the center and the words "Kamel Red Lights/ Filters/ Cigarettes/ Genuine Taste/ Turkish & Domestic Blend". On the reverse "Back after 80 years for no good reason except they taste good. Est. 1913--Re-Est. 1996", with a U.S. export tax exempt sticker.

A classic hardpack of Camel cigarettes with the yellow and brown pyramid, palm trees and camel below the words "Camel Filters" in blue and silver. The reverse shows a city with minarets and onion domes. Late enough to have the surgeon general's warning on one side.
