This circular black metal tray has a drawing of a little girl in a bonnet holding flowers sitting on a large bar of soap with an orange background and the inscription "Have you a little 'Fairy' in your home?". On the bottom "Sense-Cents-Scents/ Peope with Common Sense pay but five/ common Cents for a soap with no common/ Scents-thats Fairy Soap. Fairy Soap (the floating oval cake) is white and pure with/ no scents or dyes to disguise adulterations; it costs but five cents./ Avoid dyed soaps!"
