Description:
This needle package still in its original waxed paper wrapper is one of three mounted together on a board for display. The front is has a drawing of a man helping a woman wind yard into a ball below a mirror cut out so that the needles inside show. The back has kittens playing in a sewing basket and reads "The Compliments/ Needle Assortment". Inside there is needles in various sizes attached to gold, red and green foils. See also 2002.1.688

This round cardboard box is purple and pink with a band around the lid that reads "Outdoor Girl Olive Oil Face Powder". The tops has a stylized drawing of a woman in 1920's clothes holding a golf club and the same inscription. The bottom has suggestion for use and the words " Crystal Corporation, New York".

The inside is unopened and includes the original paper advertising insert and instructions for use.

This powder tin has multicolored lithographed picture of a child playing at powdering her puppy and the words "Perfumed Talcum Powder" with a plaid design. The back reads "For Infants and Adults this Powder Excels" with instructions for use. The lid has the plaid design and the words "Perfumed Borated Talcum Powder". On the bottom is a tax stamp for 1/4 cent dated 1898. Shaker top under lid.
