Description: 
This needle package is one of four mounted together on a board for display. The front is a printed drawing of the battleship steamer "Iowa", ans the words "The Army and Navy Needle Book". On the back is an eagle on a stars and stripes shield with olive branch and arrows. Inside is orange with five individual black envelopes of different guage needles marked "Best Warranted Needles/ 1897/ 1.Qual/ Sharps".
