Pendant contains image of an eagle holding a scroll in its mouth ("41ST/NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT GAR/SRATOGA SPRINGS 1907") above three images in circles; one of a portrait of Grant surrounded by the words "GENERAL/U. S. GRANT", another next to it of a cottage surrounded with the words "GRANT COTTAGE/MT. Metal pin-back bar with image of an eagle above two cannons and a rectangle with the words "41ST NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT/SARATOGA SPRINGS 1907" embossed on it, attached to a piece of yellow ribbon and two hanging medallions. First medallion is an image of four red, white and blue American flags behind two military men with two portraits of the Saratoga monument and the Grant cottage between them. Below are three scrolls embossed with "SARATOGA MONUMENT," "GRANT COTTAGE" and "'76 - REPRESENTATIVE - '61". Second medallion below is shaped like a crest, with a circular "GRAND ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC/1861-VETERAN-1863" circular seal at the top and a central image of a man's portrait with a "LET US/HAVE/PEACE" scroll below.
