Description:
Scrimshawed walrus tusk engraved with black ink on the obverse with many forms and figures including Lady Liberty with an eagle on her head, a rooster at base and a pair of crossed Japanese swords with a image of a Japanese man; flowers, leaves, and grapes are also prevalent; on the reverse is engraved the Poseidon in a nautilus shell, several roses, grapes and leaves, a scene of a ship approaching an island with a walrus upon it; cartouche at base.
