Pair of lieutenant's epaulets in original cardboard box; rigid, gold lace-covered strap and gilded brass crescent (no button or insignia); three layers of gold bullion fringe, the outermost measuring 3 inches in length and 1/8 inch in diameter; padded rose silk lining and elongated metal hook for fastening; black paper-covered cardboard box and lid with rounded ends and incurving sides.
