Khaki-colored worsted wool single-breasted Air Corps officer'ssummer coat; double collar with shallow lapels; shoulder loops with buttons at the collar end; 4 buttons down the front, 4 pockets on the front with flaps which button closed; all buttons cast with the Great Seal of the U.S.; closed sleeves (no cuffs) with a band of yellow lacing around each wrist; 2 panels at the back; front panels, sleeves and top half of back panel lined with khaki-colored silk, vertical slit pocket at left breast.

Leather, cotton, metal, and brass sword belt; stitched, black leather-covered canvas belt with sliding clip near center of belt suspending scabbard sling with brass hook at end that fastens to another scabbard sling suspended from loop sewn on left side of belt, and with rectangular brass plate at right end that fastens to clip on left; gilt lacing with three brown fabric bands sewn to belt and sling exteriors; plate has stamped English-style lettering in center, flanked by wreath at bottom and with beaded background; stamped number on clip.

Dark blue serge artillery Captain's single-breasted coat; 1" closed stand-up collar, shoulder straps with double bars on red velvet groud, 9 buttons down the bodice, closed false cuffs on 9" sleeves (flat) with 3 buttons at the wrist; 4 panels on the back of the bodice, with 2 buttons near the center at the waistline, a button on each side of split skirt; lined with dark green cotton, with slit pockets at each breast, lined with brown linen, bodice breast lightly padded and quilted; all buttons with shield-breasted eagle clutching a branch and arrows in its talons, with "A" on the shield.
