Cigar case with exterior of finely woven or inlaid pieces of straw dyed different colors; exposed weaving has faded to brown but weaving not exposed to light maintains blue, green, and red color; inside is lined with pink dyed printed paper.

Oval brass tobacco box; molded and gadrooned bands alternating with engraved scrolled leaves with hatching; hunting scene with engraved on top of hinged lid and mythological scene engraved beneath base (background cut away, revealing textile layer); double hinged doors on underside of lid; left door engraved with seated male and female figures and right door engraved with mother and child figure; red textile layer behind doors.
