Description:
Jumping jack toy in the form of two women churning butter; women's bodies made of turned wood hinged at waist with flat, hinged arms which connect to churn paddle. When string is pulled, paddle goes down and women's arms and bodies bend with it. Women painted in yellow and gray with black and red details.

This object was once part of the folk art collection of Elie Nadelman (1882-1946), the avant-garde sculptor.
