Description:
Dark brown wool fabric and red wool felt pen wiper in a vertical rectangular shape with rounded corners, joined at the top with a brass ring; appliquéd image of a man in colonial dress on the front, wearing a navy blue velvet tricorn hat with wool hair tied in a ponytail, the face is painted on paper, the jacket is navy blue velvet with white featherstitched trim around the edges, the waistcoat is of white satin with clear glass bead buttons and shows a handmade linen bobbin lace ruff, the breeches are white wool, the stockings are silk twill, the shoes are navy blue velvet with brass spangles for shoe buckles; the outer edge is trimmed with striped silk in black and gold.
