The rainbow flag of the LGBTQ movement is bright, colorful and always unmistakable. Join us to learn how this special flag got its start, and make one of your very own in celebration of Pride Day.

Join us and our friends from the Vietnam Heritage Center with performances, red envelopes, and festive activities celebrating Year of the Pig. Learn about all the ways Lunar New Year is celebrated throughout Southeast Asia, including Vietnam and Cambodia. 

Programming includes hands on activities such as Tet card makingand Li Xi making. Performances include Lion Dance, singing, and Ao Dai fashion show, hosted by Miss Vietnam 2010!

Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of all ages are invited to fulfill a variety of badges and earn a Museum Patch at the New-York Historical Society! Come as a troop or with family and see what's new at New York's oldest ​ museum, founded in 1804. Scout uniforms are encouraged!

Please note: This event is FREE with Museum Admission. We strongly encourage families to purchase Museum Admission tickets in advance as space is limited. Any remaining, day-of tickets will be issued to Museum visitors on a first come-first, served basis.
