Description:
Female. Audubon originally called this bird Vigors' Warbler after Nicholas Vigors (1785-1840), Irish zoologist, ornithologist and naturalist.
Gallery Label:
The background flora has been identified as Ohio spiderwort (Tradescantia ohiensis).
