Join us at the Museum to watch Eloise at the Plaza! At this special screening, Janet Brownell, the writer behind the beloved movie starring Julie Andrews, will introduce the film and answer your questions before the movie begins.
Janet Brownell has been writing since the late 1980s. Her career began as a dialogue writer on the daytime drama "Days of Our Lives." Since then she has written numerous movies for television (Elosie at the Plaza included). Janet has also worked on features, most notably a yearlong rewrite of The Santa Clause starring Tim Allen. She lives in the Pacific Northwest on a small island. Her days are divided among sitting in front of a computer, working as school board director, and taking hikes with her husband and trusty beagle Chet. All in all, it is a pretty great life for a writer.
