EVENT DETAILS
Would there be heroes without villains to antagonize them? Consider the role villains play in creating conflict and emotional resonance for readers, and explore how the illustration of a villain can serve as an important tool for engaging readers. In this two-day class, draw inspiration from the work of Harry Potter illustrator's Jim Kay, Mary GrandPré, and Brian Selznick to create and illustrate your own fantasy-based villain!
During this course, participants will visit the exhibition Harry Potter: A History of Magic.
Who will save the day? Learn how to illustrate heroes to fight your villains at our two-day class, Illustrating Heroes.
