Author Emma Sky discusses what lessons we can learn from Iraq, how we can assess America’s role in global affairs, and what the U.S. can do to generate consensus on our interests, values, and priorities.
Emma Sky, an Officer of the British Empire, is a senior fellow at Yale University’s Jackson Institute for Global Affairs and the author of The Unraveling: High Hopes and Missed Opportunities in Iraq. Max Boot (moderator) is Jeane J. Kirkpatrick Senior Fellow for National Security Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations.
