Join us via Zoom every Tuesday and Friday for story time and crafts! Each class includes a special Little New-Yorkers hello song, silly dances and songs, a story book reading, and a craft to do at home. This week, read Alma and How She Got Her Name, written and illustrated by Juana Martinez-Neal. Meet Alma who feels she has too many names. She has six! Find out how she feels after learning the history of each special name. Then, decorate your name to hang in your house and talk about why it's special, too.
New-York Historical is temporarily closed in order to help protect the health and safety of our visitors, staff, and the wider community during this outbreak of COVID-19.
