Every weekend through January 8, meet fascinating living historians and reenactors who bring the American Revolution to life inside the Museum, presented in conjunction with our groundbreaking exhibition, The Battle of Brooklyn.

On December 17, acclaimed historical musician Linda Russell will fill our galleries with songs from the 18th century. Families can drop by to hear her play instruments such as the hammered and mountain dulcimers, limberjack (both a toy and an instrument!), and guitar. In between songs, she’ll tell tales of the Revolutionary War and the origins of the tunes. Kids can even try out some of the instruments!

During song breaks, don’t forget to explore the exhibition with our Battle of Brooklyn Family Guide!
