Every weekend through January 8, meet fascinating living historians and reenactors who bring the American Revolution to life inside the Museum, presented in conjunction with our groundbreaking exhibition, The Battle of Brooklyn.
What did celebrations sound like in colonial New-York? Heare music of the past played on reproductions of an 18th-century viola, violin, and recorder. Reenactors Emily Bader and Michael Goudket comprise the musical duo, Musica Dolce, and will be performing throughout the day at the Museum. Plus, learn all about historical music customs and how their instruments have evolved over time.
In between songs, explore life in the 18th century in the exhibition with our Battle of Brooklyn Family Activity Guide!
