What are the exclamation points of an outfit? Look at the heads and toes of historical clothing to uncover the answer at our special ‘touch table’ following the opening weekends of Walk This Way: Footwear from the Stuart Weitzman Collection of Historic Shoes and Feathers: Fashion and the Fight for Wildlife.

Join Raissa Bretaña, fashion historian and DiMenna Children’s History Museum Living Historian, for a journey into yesterday’s looks. Explore samples of shoes and hats from long ago, discover how they were made in the past, and make your own faux feather to take home!
