Meet us at the Three Tun Tavern! In the 18th century, taverns served as restaurants, hotels, bars, ballrooms, and all-around social hubs where people met to talk, gossip, and share news. Take a virtual field trip back in time to visit one in Philadelphia on the eve of the Revolutionary War with our Living History coordinator Cheyney McKnight and friends from the Museum of the American Revolution. Listen in on their conversation and then join in yourself to ask questions and learn the juiciest bits of 18th-century news. Make sure to bring your colonial money to buy a tasty treat or secure a bed for the night!
